Easing Back into the Routine

(New Year Card from Pinterest)

Happy New Year!  Emily and I hope everyone had a nice New Year's Eve.  Our's was quiet.  More room for naps!  It's time to start easing back into "routine"
It's been so cold here the last couple of weeks.  Mom has cranked up the heat and then worries about this strange thing called a "bill".   We are glad she does turn it up, though.   Mom says we need to keep warm with tea, slippers etc.
Brrrr....slate grey sky in early morning.
Sudden snow flurry.  Tend not to last too long.
Hello now from Miss Emily.  I am going to show you a photo that has nothing to do with winter.
Pink flower!  Mom took this photo a few years ago.

Winston kitty thinks he will find something in the tea cup!
Between the cold and changes at work our Mom is a bit out of sorts.  We felines do what we can, though!   We will close with this funny Mom found on Pinterest.
Purrs to everyone!

  3. Happy New Year!

That flower is a bit of wonderful colour and cheer, especially right now. Winter isn't officially two weeks old yet, and already we're sick of being snowed in, snowed under, and freezing our furry butts!

RE: heating bills: Not sure how things work in your city, but our utility company has an equal billing plan, whereby you pay the same amount over 11 months and either have a credit or balance owing in the 12th month. (Our biped always keeps a credit.) It helps, budget-wise, so if it's an option for you, we recommend it.

Take care, all, and stay warm!

  4. That is a really nice teacup. And yes, hoomins do worry over those bill things... our job as kittehs is to distract them with our amazing cuteness.
